Welcome to the Nature’s Footprints website

Thank you for taking the time to come and pay us a visit.
We hope you find the site useful and informative and enjoy reading all about us and the services we provide.

We have had the most incredible few months with lots of exciting milestones being achieved and we look forward to attaining more!

Nature’s Footprints Forest Play and Education CiC is now a social enterprise with our own premises.
We have successfully grown our work in local schools, extended our holiday provision and now have the use of eight different sites including local nature reserves, parks and woodland.

We are continuing to build the website and will be adding more content, blog posts and photos over the coming weeks and months. Contact Nature’s Footprints for more information about all outdoor learning, Forest School provision and training, ‘Wild in the Woods’ parties and Family Forest sessions.

A little bit about us………

Nature’s Footprints Forest Play and Education CiC aims to provide benefit to:
the local community in and around Huddersfield, West Yorkshire and beyond, including schools and education settings, families, children and young people, Children’s Centres and community groups.

Our aims for schools and education settings: to provide outdoor learning, INSET, and accredited Forest School training to practitioners and employees. We will also deliver Forest School sessions and programmes to groups and classes of children, within their own setting.

Our aims for the local community: to provide quality holiday provision and experiences for families and children in partnership with other local organisations and community groups. This also includes utilising local outdoor / green spaces and the educational and recreational opportunities they provide.

We also aim to work collaboratively and strategically with other community groups and local organisations in order to provide sustainable models of play and learning opportunities for children, young people and families, regardless of their gender, ethnicity, religion, beliefs and values.

Our aims for the wider community: to provide accredited Forest School training for practitioners and employees, alongside training in play, child initiated learning, creative curriculum days and promoting social and emotional development through the outdoors. We also offer opportunities for other settings and practitioners to come and visit us to learn more about Forest School, and how this approach can be used with a variety of groups and ages.

So……. please stay a while, read our blog and take a look at our photo gallery…..

And please feel free to come back and visit again soon.

Warm regards

Jo
