As one of our first events as Kirklees Forest School Network, we have been invited to take part in a Charity Fete in Greenhead Park on Sunday 13th August 2017.  The event is being organised by Natural Kirklees, Friends of Greenhead Park and the Parks and Greenspaces Team at Kirklees Council and aims to showcase the groups and activities that use green spaces locally.

We can have space, tables and chairs, free of charge in a marquee, in return for putting on some sort of interactive activity that will engage and enthuse members of the public.

The plan for the day is:

9.30-12.30 – arrive and set-up

12.30-1 – lunch and networking

1-4 – event open to the public

Unfortunately the deadline for booking is tomorrow – I’m happy to book a space for the Network, but it would be good to know if people are interested and if they think it’s a good idea, and if people have any thoughts about what we can do and how.  Do we have a space where individual members can promote their services and activities under the banner of Kirklees Forest School Network?  Do we have a joint thing as the Network?  Do people want their own individual stalls/spaces?

Charity Fete 2017The booking form is available here if you’d like to book for your own group or organisation – stallholderregisteration.form.final
