Don’t forget that your First Aid certificate needs to be renewed every 3 years – and because we run accredited Forest School training and offer Outdoor First Aid as part of the package, you can always contact us to find out when our next course is (generally 2 or 3 times a year).  And if you’ve previously done your qualification with Andy and ITC, you should automatically get an email reminder when it’s coming up to renewal time.

If your First Aid needs renewing now, our next course will be over a weekend, 15th and 16th of July at the Scout Hut in Crosland Moor, Huddersfield, HD4 5BJ.  This is an accredited 16-hour emergency first aid for those working outdoors, including Forest School and Outdoor Learning Practitioners, Scout and Guide Leaders, and outdoor activity instructors.

The 16-hours (9am-6pm on both days) covers all the theory with lots of practical experience and opportunities to apply the skills. The course is delivered (with a great sense of humour) by Andy Forsyth of Silver Fox Training, who has a wealth of personal experience in outdoor activities and first aid, including as a Forest School Practitioner and at the National Watersports Centre, and he can adapt the course and scenarios to suit your needs.  You will be assessed on the second day, and your certificate lasts for 3 years.

The cost of the course is £135 per person
