March 30, 2017

in Events, Forest School Training, Kirklees Forest School Network

Do you live or work in Kirklees and are trained, training or working in Forest School?

If the answer is ‘yes’, we’d like to invite you to join us for a cuppa and a cake and to talk about a new Kirklees Forest School Network. The network is being set up and run in partnership with Kirklees Council, and aims to support local practitioners, encourage good practice, develop skills, facilitate training, and share ideas and resources. In addition, members will have access to Council-owned land to use for Forest School activities, and harvesting resources (subject to relevant qualifications, insurance and policies).

Come along to find out more and tell us what you think and what you need:

  • Wednesday, 10th May 2017 at Beaumont Park Visitor Centre, Huddersfield, HD4 &AY
  • 4.30 to 5pm – arrive, tea & cake
  • 5 to 6pm – presentations (Kirklees Council and Nature’s Footprints) and discussion
  • 6-6.30pm – optional visit to the Forest School site at Beaumont Park

Please book via Eventbrite.

We look forward to seeing you.
